TheraPrac Private Beta | Founding Rate Policy

This page explains exactly what's included in the TheraPrac Private Beta founding rate, how it maps to our standard pricing, and where standard usage-based fees still apply.

Our Alpha Program closed to new practices on August 1, 2026. Founding practices who joined before that date keep their free-for-life terms as described in the Alpha Free-for-Life Policy (historical reference; not open to new signups). Practices joining now enroll in Private Beta instead.

Included with Private Beta

  • 25% off Core EHR subscription fees (Simple or Clinical), locked in for as long as you remain continuously subscribed
  • Applies per provider, with no limit on the number of providers

Standard Pricing Still Applies

  • Telehealth (Basic, Pro, or Max)
  • TheraPrac Pay subscription and per-transaction fees
  • Insurance Billing subscription and per-transaction fee
  • Stripe processing fees
  • Any future add-ons (e.g., AI Progress Notes, E-Prescribing)

Core EHR (25% Off, Locked In)

Private Beta practices pay 25% less than current list price on Core EHR subscription fees (Simple or Clinical), for every provider on the account, for as long as the practice remains continuously subscribed.

Plan List Price Private Beta Rate
Simple $29/provider/month $21.75/provider/month
Clinical $49/provider/month $36.75/provider/month

This is a percentage discount off current list price, not a fixed dollar amount. If TheraPrac's list pricing changes in the future, your rate updates proportionally, in line with our standard pricing-change policy: changes are communicated in advance and take effect at your next billing cycle. You'll always pay 25% less than whatever the current list price is.

Discount stacking: The Private Beta rate does not combine with the annual billing discount or the volume discount. You receive whichever discount is greater.

Telehealth, TheraPrac Pay, and Insurance Billing (Standard Pricing)

Unlike the closed Alpha program, Private Beta does not waive subscription fees for Telehealth, TheraPrac Pay, or Insurance Billing. These remain priced at standard rates. See pricing.

What Private Beta Does Not Mean

Private Beta does not include:

  • Free access of any kind — this is a locked-in discount, not free-for-life
  • A fixed dollar rate that never changes — the 25% discount tracks current list price
  • Waived Telehealth, TheraPrac Pay, or Insurance Billing subscription fees
  • Discounts on usage-based or transaction-based fees (Stripe, platform fee, insurance transactions, telehealth overage)
  • Custom development or practice-specific configurations

What Happens If Private Beta Terms Change

TheraPrac may transition Private Beta to general availability or otherwise change these terms for future signups, with advance notice as described in our standard pricing-change policy. Practices who joined Private Beta before any such change keep their locked-in 25% founding rate for as long as they remain continuously subscribed. The founding rate may end if a practice materially breaches its service agreement, the Terms of Service, or the Business Associate Agreement, or if the practice cancels and later resubscribes (which would enroll it under whatever terms are current at that time).

Plain-English Summary

  • Core EHR (Simple or Clinical): 25% off list price, locked in for as long as you stay continuously subscribed
  • No cap on the number of providers this applies to
  • Telehealth, TheraPrac Pay, Insurance Billing: standard pricing, no waivers
  • Discount tracks list price if pricing changes; you always pay 25% less than current rates
  • Doesn't stack with volume or annual discounts (greater of the two applies)
